Since 2004, The Conservation Fund has owned and sustainably managed the 23,780-acre Garcia River Forest to:
Reduce Carbon Emissions
Protect Endangered Fish and Wildlife
Support the Surrounding Community
What does forest protection have to do with carbon emissions? Redwood forests store more carbon per acre than any other forest type. Sustainable management of Garcia River Forest enables the storage of more than 77,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
By pledging your support, you will receive a personal invite to Organic Valley's new sustainability website packed full of fun facts, farmer stories and inspiring videos which will launch in early summer 2017.
